On this tour we extend our flight from the waterfall Glymur further inland for a visit to the spectacular cave „Vidgelmir“. Vidgelmir is the largest cave found in Iceland and among the largest lava caves in the world. Exploring Mother Earth from the inside like this is truly a unique experience. The stop includes about 90 minutes guided tour a few hundred meters into the cave. Then we fly towards Thingvellir national park and stop by at a remote geothermal area at Mt. Hengill with amazing view on Iceland´s wilderness on our way back to the city. Journey time about 3,5 hours.
